  Does COA offer Worlds Bids?
    Yes! COA is awarding 2 Full Paid Bids to the Cheerleading Worlds and 8 At Large Bids at the COA Midwest Open Championship in Columbus, Ohio.   How do I register for a Elements Dance Championship?
    Registration is easy! Just print, complete and fax in your Registration Form. If you have any questions call the office and talk to a customer service representative at 1.800.252.4337.
 
  How do I qualify for the COA ULTIMATE National Championship?
    Teams can qualify for ULTIMATE at COA Camps, COA Championships, or by video submission! Click HERE for more information.
 
  On my studio team, my dancers range from 5 years old to 15 years old. Do you have divisions for this?
    Yes! At Elements Dance Championships, studio teams have divisions made specifically for them, where the ages are averaged to determine which division your team will go into. Click HERE to find the complete list of divisions.
 
 

Every studio competition we go to allows at least 3 minutes for a team routine. If I come to an Elements Dance Championship, will I have to shorten my number?

   

No! Studio divisions have separate rules from all star, school and recreation. We have allotted them a 3 minute 30 second time limit for teams. Click HERE to view Elements Dance Championship rules.
 

 

What is category scoring?

   

In 1995, COA was the first company to develop and implement Category Scoring at its championships. The now-popular system, allows judges to focus entirely on one aspect of a routine (such as technical skills), versus the entire routine, is what makes our score system so accurate.  Can dancers use glitter at your events?

   

Indoor use of spray glitter and other aerosol sprays (including hairspray) are strictly prohibited. If you choose to use these products, they must be used outdoors.
 

 

 Do you offer an Exhibition Division?

   

Yes, we offers an Exhibition Division. Dancers will receive a participation award, will not be scored/ranked, and must pay the same registration fees.
