On my studio team, my dancers
range from 5 years old to 15
years old. Do you have divisions
for this? |
| |
|
Yes! At
Elements Dance Championships,
studio teams have divisions made
specifically for them, where the
ages are averaged to determine
which division your team will go
into. Click

Every studio competition we go
to allows at least 3 minutes for
a team routine. If I come to an
Elements Dance Championship,
will I have to shorten my
number? |
| |
|
No! Studio
divisions have separate rules
from all star, school and
recreation. We have allotted
them a 3 minute 30 second time
limit for teams. Click

Championship rules.

What is category scoring?
|
| |
|
In 1995,
COA was the first company to
develop and implement Category
Scoring at its championships.
The now-popular system, allows
judges to focus entirely on one
aspect of a routine (such as
technical skills), versus the
entire routine, is what
makes our score system so
accurate. Click
