evaluated and receive Ribbons
based on their progress and
performance.

American Awards
Athletes named as All American
qualify for Dream Team and have
the opportunity to compete
individually at The COA ULTIMATE
National Championship. All
American Awards are presented to
outstanding athletes displaying
strong jumps, strong motion
technique, outstanding tumbling,
leadership, and cooperation.
COA Spirit Stick
Each day of Camp,
Instructors will award a Spirit
Stick to Teams who display the
most spirit and positive energy
throughout the day.
Superlative Awards
Instructors will award
Superlatives to individuals who
display superior skills.
COA Dream Team
Perform in front of tens of
thousands of people at Bowl
Games and Holiday Parades across
the country with the COA Dream
Team.
Most Improved Team
Instructors will award the
Most Improved Team Award to the
team who worked to their full
potential and made great
improvements and progress.

Sign Contest Champion
Instructors will choose the Team
that creates the most creative
Sign and name them Sign Contest
Champion. (Resident Camps Only)
Lip Sync Contest Champion
Instructors will judge the Teams
participating in the Lip Synch
Contest on Creativity,
Entertainment Value, and Lip
Synching ability. (Resident
Camps Only)
CheerLeadership Scholarship
This
Award is presented to the team
nominated by their peers for
exhibiting Leadership,
Friendliness, and Inspiration.
The winner receives a “$250 COA
Camp Cash.” (Resident Camps
Only)
Home Dance Competition
Champion
Bring a dance routine to Camp
and you could be named Home
Dance Competition Champion.

Top Team Award
Presented to a Team displaying:
Outstanding Leadership, Positive
Attitudes, Cooperation, and
Strong Skills. The Top Team
receives $500 COA Championship
Cash which can be used at any of
COA’s Championships. (Resident
Camps Only)
